I’ve lived a lot in 38 years. I’ve crafted myself from a shy, sick boy with an obsession with legos to the multi-hyphenate artist and geek you see here.
I’m still sick, living with chronic illness and constant pain that made passing a kidney stone seem like.. Well, not as big of a deal as I expected.
What I don’t do, however, is let it rule me completely.
With each health problem comes a new challenge, and for those of you who know me, you know I love a good challenge. When I had to give up playing trombone, I pursued countless other instruments. When my arthritic pain forced me to walk with a cane, I made it an accessory, rather than a crutch.
I apply that same mindset to everything I do; from code, to art, to music, and whatever new creative methods of expression I find myself pursuing. The most important part is this: I’ll never stop.

I once performed a conceptual piece protesting legislation that allowed those of different sexual orientations to be discriminated against. I was tied up in rope bondage live on the sidewalk, with the design forming a traditional white-collar-and-tie look.
I had a bearded dragon for a pet, and her name was Knobbins. She was amazing.
I like to spend my Saturday mornings sitting on my porch drinking coffee and feeding squirrels.
I have color-grapheme synesthesia.
I started programming at 8 years old, having learned BASIC out of a 321 Contact Magazine. Much later, in college, I taught myself x86 ASM for fun.
