"A Beautifully Discordant Metronome" is a multimedia dynamic art piece that publicly exposes my heart rate in visual, poetic and auditory means. It is meant to disturb you, and also provide some insights into the oddities of how someone with chronic pain and other health conditions functions. Many experiences will be of my typical slightly-higher-than-normal baseline heart rate.. But some may see the rare instance of relief, or the hopefully even rarer extreme discomfort of an elevated high heart rate due to pain, stress, or something else.
